I should probably get a frequent-visitor pass for Longwood Gardens. The trees have their spring blossoms, and the light was fantastic Saturday. The sky was a clear blue, with but a few wispy clouds to break up the great expanse.

I always forget to look at the trees' name tags, so I have no idea what sort this one is. I'm still going through the other pictures I took, maybe one or two others will be worth posting.

Bob accompanied me on this visit, so it'll be interesting to see what he did with his camera & vision. There is definitely a benefit to going specifically for photography, and with a fellow shutterbug too. I often feel that I'm inconveniencing the non-photographers that I'm with, but there's none of that when there's someone else I can talk to about the technical aspects of it.

Technical: 1/1600s at f/9.0, 29mm, Sigma 18-50.

Channel mixing in Photoshop. Actually broke out the Wacom for the masking on this piece, I need to get better at it.
