“Weather Drops”

Took this after a good day of rain. The single leaf was all alone in the parking lot, with drops forming all over it. Ran back inside and grabbed the camera and a +4 close-up. I like the way it turned out (this is the best out of 22 attempts).

I've recently found that in post-processing I should always be upping the color saturation. It seems like that is the one major step that the camera's built-in developing does better than software. When I shoot in RAW mode, I am the one responsible for developing the digital negative, and there are things I do differently than the camera. But bumping up the saturation certainly breathes more life into whatever I'm shooting, and I'll likely be using it much more often in the future.
