After the job on Wednesday was finished, we headed back to the hotel to catch a few hours before driving out to Red Rocks Park.

The park is a short drive west from Denver - it only took about 25 minutes at 5 in the morning. Stopping at an overlook, we left the awesome rental minivan and hiked around for a bit. We came to the mostly natural amphitheater and admired the view. Ugh, it was early.

Realizing this, it was bed time. Back to the hotel and somnolence. If you're in the Denver area and don't have time to go see Rocky Mountain park, visit Red Rocks - a beautiful place and a whole lot closer to town.
