Jen's Aunt Linda recently had a brain tumor removed. Along with the tumor, the surgeons gave her a tressectomy, resulting in a field of stubble.  To show love and support, Jen's had her own hair removed (by my own hand, no less!).  She is donating the hair to the Locks of Love children's charity.  I've posted a few pictures for those wanting to see the process of deforestation.

Sometimes the human body needs food. Sometimes Jen is the one who makes the food. Sometimes I take pictures of it. Sometimes you can view those pictures. This is one of those times.

Eye Contact

While we rambled around Harpers Ferry, WV, we came across some miniature caves carved from the rocky hills. While I was scrunching myself up into a hole, JM poked her head around the corner and I was inspired to take this photo. After some “up up up, hold on, right right right, hold on, down a bit down a bit” I think it came together.

The image was cropped a bit, so I don't know what kind of print I'll get, but on the whole I feel really good about this piece. I really lucked out, and have to thank JM for bearing with me while I setup the camera.
