Jen received a bouquet of tulips from my mother, and that's all I'm saying about that subject. I used the tripod my Aunt Mary bought me for Christmas, and it worked very well. Coloring and minimal cropping done in Lightroom and Photoshop.

Went to Longwood yesterday, hoping for a good photo opportunity. I think I found it in the Idea Garden, a section dedicated to the practicalities of home gardening. The flowers were swarming with bees and other pollen-loving insects. The cone flowers have a unique shape, and I was able to capture one in what I feel is a good composition.
